Dear University of Central Oklahoma Student Organizations,
It is that time again to share our pride and tradition with the campus here at UCO. This is the time where we can not just learn what being a true Broncho means, but about becoming a true Broncho in sharing the pride and tradition for the University of Central Oklahoma. IT’S HOMECOMING 2006! The Homecoming Activities Board has been hard at work to make this year’s Homecoming the best yet. It is with your help that we can make Homecoming a success. Homecoming is a time-honored tradition in which we want everyone to take part. This year, you will see larger events, a variety of opportunities for every area and/or organization on campus to get involved, and events that reach out to the needs of our campus community and their interests. We wanted to take this time to personally invite you to join this wonderful opportunity and to get involved in truly making Homecoming 2006 “Game On!” at UCO the best it has ever been. Even if you have never participated in Homecoming before, there are so many fun and exciting opportunities for you to get involved. We need your participation, enthusiasm, and pride! Homecoming Week 2006 “Game On!” kicks off Sunday, October 29, 2006 and climaxes on Game Day Saturday, November 4, 2006. As you prepare for all the activities during Homecoming, please use this playbook as a guide and resource. It contains all the ABC’s of Homecoming. Please take note of all important dates and deadlines so you don’t miss out on anything. As you participate in Homecoming, take your playbook to refer to, as well as visit the UCO website, under Homecoming for more details and forms/applications to fill out. A majority of the questions you may have can be answered in this book. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Student Life Office at 974-2363. There is also contact information for each Homecoming Activities Board member for individual questions. So gear up, get ready, because on October 29th, it’s “GAME ON!”
